Californication Season 2

Anyone else watch the premiere? Thoughts?

I watched it and thought it was good. but I'm more happy that Dexter is on right before it

i liked it! i just got caught up with the show right before, and i really enjoy it. mmmm mulder.

Me too, Becca is getting kind of annoying. I know the show came out before Juno.

But I'm getting the total vibe from a Juno Becca now.

Im stoked about starting it. Somehow I live in an agoraphobic bliss and managed to reject influences of all kinds. Just saw the first episode of season 1 two days ago and I am up to episode 13.

Marci and Charlie are truly the best. I think Season 2 episode gives them justice!

I almost peed in my pants laughing at that scene in the hotel room.

That scene was awesome.

I'm just so happy that they didn't wimp out and make the last episode of the first season a dream sequence.

That was my biggest fear coming into season 2

I love Californication. It may be my favorite show ever.

Honestly the show is rather boring like that... I love the "classics".

Well I'm sure the next episode will have a lot more crazy sex and hilarious misanthropy.

That dinner scene was such a wreck.. it reminds me of relationshiply complicated meals I've been to. Very well done.

Charlie and Marci were the best though. I mean what was with Charlie dancing in front of Guitar Hero?

I fucking love their use of music in the show, namely Warren Zevon.

I love the show and the recent developments should have interesting effects. Can't wait to see the rest of the season and how things turn out between Hank and Karen.

It makes me sad this thread isn't as popular as the True Blood thread.

Oh well makes this show very underrated!

I fucking love Duchovny as Hank! And now that Callum Keith Rennie is part of the cast I can't get enough of this show! I wish it had longer than 1/2 hour episodes though.

I know it seems like Sundays 11/16th episode was like 10 minutes long.

It goes by so fast! Callum is so awesome as Lew. He fits the character so damn well.

I always think of Callum as the weird chronic sex guy from Don McKellar's underrated "Last Night."

I can't be the only person who's wondering how each of the sex maniacs fucking the woman the other one loves is going to turn out. Whatever happened to Charlie crushing the girl for stealing Hank's book? Did they just leave that or did they resolve it in some minor moment I missed?

Charlie was fired because she told the boss that he was masturbating in his office. I guess she put a camera there to catch him red handed.

No pun intended!

That part I knew, but they never resolve her theft of the book? She's getting credit for it and stuff in previous episodes, then just seems to go back towards being a regular high school student.

I certainly hope Hank gets his book back.

Yeah, and I also hope a city bus falls on Mia from out of the blue. More episodes with Hank and Ashby fighting would make me a happy man.
