Well ya' got me. This article made me check out the show, and I'm not disappointed. I am equally appalled and baffled by the behavior of the characters of the show. I think back to all the things I hated about my grandfather, and in the context of the world presented in the show he now makes much more sense. It's a world very different than the one I grew up in a mere 20 years later.
i'd watch it, but i am trying to limit my succubus to what i can get either on roku or hulu. mad men have only allowed hulu rights for season 2 ep1. oh well

bump, new episode
I don't like this whole "Don runs away to California" story arc. I think it's distracting and all the flashbacks are pissing me off.
I was finally convinced of the show's complete and utter genius when Draper gave the "it's not a wheel, it's a carousel" presentation at the end of season one.

I would have to say that Christina Hendricks holds spots 1 through 9 on my list
I just started watching this show yesterday during a laundry marathon. Five or six episodes later, and I still can't get over how gorgeous Christina Hendricks is.

such a spectacularly written show and well-acted.
i'm a recent convert (just finished season one and started season two last night) and i'm totally hooked.
the sets and the costumes alone would entice me to watch, but it's a heckuva show in all respects. joan is one of the best characters, even if i occasionally still want to call her saffron. christina hendricks is sooooo good at playing that type. and so good at being ridiculously hot.
i don't want spoilers about what happens this season, but can someone please tell me if they ever bother explaining the peggy baby situation? like, how she managed to be all good at writing ad copy and so crappy at noticing how she didn't have a period for nine months or so? that's a major plot hole that needs to be filled.
Don't underestimate the power of denial plus being completely out of touch with your body.
