I sincerely apologize if I offended anyone who has been clinically diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder and anyone whose life is impacted by such.
It would have been more appropriate to title the thread "I'm obsessed with sponges" or 'What are your obsessions' or "what are your compulsive purchases" or some variation - and if a mod would like to edit it; please do as to not continue to insult anyone or their loved ones. Also, I am certain this was originally posted in silliness; not lifestyle, so if not locked - better placed.
I also admire how the SG community banded together to react to a revival of a long dead thread to point out a concern with the original post and almost double its length.
I will close this post, by resuming the thread topic and mention that I bought a sponge shaped like a peace frog today with a scrubber on one side and orange on the other - it is wonderful.

I didnt take offense at all, I was just recently diagnosed with m,ild ocd, and boy did it explain so much of my behavior! It doesnt bother me at all, its just, "oh ok, thats why" kind ofthig.
and as far as sponges, I do like the colorful printed ones.
I have to knock on wood, but only for certain things (like I haven't ever had a speeding ticket--yet). My desktop can't have icons on it, all my music has to be perfectly tagged and my files generally in order. Uh.. other than that, I'm not super-obsessive. Saturday is house-cleaning day.
