Man on Fire.

the soundtrack doesn't have the cut-up version of Blue Lagoon that is played during the suicide attempt scene. this proves that there is no god.

blue bayou smile

for some reason that reminds me that ry cooder is certainly worth mentioning for his work in Paris, Texas, Crossroads (not a great movie, but a great score), and Buena Vista Social Club.

There Will Be Blood by Jonny Greenwood, definitely. Or Waking Life by Glover Gill. Or Jon Brion, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.

I am so surprised that no one has mentioned John Williams' score of the Star Wars Episodes 4 - 6?
Also, anything Danny Elfman touches is gold. Especially in Pee-wee's Big Adventure. biggrin

fuck yes!

and don't forget Stigmata (Elia Cmiral & Billy Corgan) & Usual Suspects (John Ottman's mainstream debut--one good theme'll do him tongue )

and another FUCK YES! for Graeme Revell... (esp for The Crow & The Saint)

may I also? draw attention to Susumu Hirasawa? especially for Paprika smile some of you may not be huge into anime like I am? but definitely check out Hirasawa--you may do so here... http://www.teslakite.com/freemp3s/e/paprika/ "The Girl in Byakkoya" is pretty cool smile

I also thought that Patrick Doyle did a wonderful job with Great Expectations back in 1998...
