AH HA! We are talking about two different docs. The one I saw was actually a CNBC doc that was aired on TV.

You can even watch it for free.

BAM

The other one I guess I haven't seen? I will have to check it out. Much obliged.

The Bridge... About Golden Gate Bridge suicides.

It's both scary and very sad how people resort to a end their lives.

Death on the Staircase. It's a well made documentary, but it's also almost entirely a propaganda piece for it's protagonist.

I second (or third, or fourth) Theremin: An Electronic Odyssey. Also forgot to mention When We Were Kings, Blood in the Face, Capturing the Friedmans and Koyaanisqatsi.

The greatest raid of all.
part 1 of 6

I will say it spoils a really cool part of this documentary on the Victoria Cross
part 1 of 7

So if you've got the time watch the Victoria Cross one first.

I love Animal Planet.

Its more of a documentary channel and is mostly about saving animals but alot of the are put down which is really saddening. BUT alot of them get saved and re-homed! smile

Just watched God Grew Tired of Us and I thought it was excellently done. does a good job of pointing out the problems in Sudan while at the same time showing how the Lost Boys came to the United States and discovered all the little things that most Americans don't take any notice of.

I saw The Pixar Story at Comic-Con 2007 and loved it. It's now available on the WALL-E special edition DVD. If you like Pixar, or even animation in general, I highly recommend it.
