tis not. tis not tilted in orientation, when Numenor twas said to be tilted eastward.

and tis a bit small, methinks. Mittalmar, the central region, twas said to be 250 miles across its breadth, with each of the promontories twere said to be of roughly equal size.

Methinks it could be only the tippity top of the mountains. Still, no matter which maps I read in english, dutch, or bahasa indonesia, the name of that particular island is never given.

Found it! It is called Pulau Padamarang, and it is mainly a nature reserve with a big coral reef.
