I have a total thing for horror so any H.P Lovecraft would have been amazing for me. Any suggestion's?

Yes I'm ripping off the other thread blush

I loved Lovecraft in high school. Still do...

To answer your question:

Picnic at Hanging Rock
Beloved
The Poisonwood Bible
The Sorrows of Young Werther
Effi Briest
Candide
100 Years of Solitude
Close to the Knives
The Alchemist
The Satanic Verses

Are books I wish I'd read earlier in life...

I just pretended to read them..

One was Why Does The Caged Bird Sing?

Never found out why it sings, either.

To Kill A Mockingbird
Huckleberry Finn
O Pioneers!
Ethan Frome *stabstabstab*
Um... Assorted works by Bradbury...

It feels like it's been a long time since high school. That makes me feel good inside.

I'm guessing it was supposed to say, "... do you WISH they made you read ..."

If that's the case, I'll go with

Anything from Pynchon, Kerouac, or Salinger.

My high school was pretty conservative.

I read Lord of the Flies, and it was great, we had to watch the film for it too, but that wasn't so great! I have to admit i don't remember what else i read at school that made an impression on me, which is a shame because i love English Lit.

Comic books. They would have gone down well.
