Obsession

Ok so I am curious as to what kind of obsession you have had with a person,specifically a person you were romantically involved with ....but things did not work out...yet you were unable to let them go..has anyone done some drastic things like travel to another state to confess your love for them....or you know fantasized obsessively on a sexual relationship you once had to the point where you became deluded to the reality of the situation...like realizing you would never be together again....if so how long did it last ..? And what was the awakening moment where you realized you had to move on from this person.
