Let's hear them. What was your last "bad" dream. Be it a sappy kitten killing dream or a evil mother-in-law monster terrorizing the neighborhood. Lets see what plagues your subconcious.

Mine being, a now recent ex-gf shows up out of nowhere to introduce me to her new husband and new born baby, while I'm on a date with my current crush.

The other night I had a dream I hit this girl I really dislike at work with my car. At least I took her to the hospital in the dream.

Oh... "BAD!" At first I was like, "bed dream?" As opposed to "couch dream" or "boring workplace dream..."

Um, I dreamed that I was so late with the last issue of my comic that they got someone else to draw it, and it looked like shit but still had my name on it.

I have quite a lot of nightmares, but one that's really stood out in my memory occured a few weeks ago. Basically, I was trapped in an underground water system type place. And I was watching a corpse of a man floating rapidly down the "river", and he suddenly morphed into Squidward, and at that point the water was filled with a mass of black tentacles. Really eerie music was playing throughout.

My mind is strange. surreal

That could have quickly become a very good dream.

once a week or so, i'll dream that i see a spider running across the bed. this generally causes me to leave the room at a dead sprint, which in turn sends my cat into spastic fits. by the time i've leapt from my bed, crossed my messy floor, thrown open my door, and teleported down the stairs, i've usually woken up enough to realize that a) it's pitch black in my room, so i couldn't have possibly seen a spider even if there'd been one; and b) spiders in Pittsburgh don't actually grow to be the size of basketballs.

Last night I dreamt I was at this huge Barnes & Noble and this guy started stealing stuff. So me and the owner ran after him and dragged him back inside. Then he got pissed off and started shooting and Barack Obama happened to be there, and got hit by a stray shot. I was like "Shit, there goes the country." Luckily my phone woke me up. tongue

But generally, I love "scary" dreams. I don't call them nightmares because I rarely feel helpless in them. I'm never being chased or hiding from something, I'm fighting monsters or trying to solve mysteries. So whenever I wake up, I'm like "That was awesome." The Obama one was less awesome, though.

Are you sure it wasn't a premonition?

I don't so much have "scary" dreams as "frustrating to the point of pissing me off" dreams. I had one the other morning (I know cuz it happened between when I first woke up to pee and when I woke up a second time). For some reason, people kept thinking that I was crazy or dangerous because of whatever I was saying. And I know that I was making good logical sense. But no matter what, my parents, my coworkers, everybody would just do that little nod-and-smile that people use when someone is babbling. Then they locked me in the basement. And whenever I tried to talk my way out, they would just nod and smile and say things to keep me calm, then lock me in again.

I woke up pissed off.

I dreamt that one of the guys from work was really pissed at me for wearing his gear to a call instead of mine. I got called in for overtime and since my gear was at the other station...wore his insetead. The rest of the guy were breaking my balls because the guy whose gear I grabbed is kinda chubby...so it looked like a clown suit on me.

Well....in my dream he found out I wore his gear and started really flipping out...and at first I felt bad...but then I realized I had seniority on him and decided not to take any shit. I tol dhim no tonly did I wear his gear...but I didn't wear skivvies underneat....and I was sweating really bad.

then I woke up.

The typo in the title of this thread cracks me up. I love sleep so much I often dream about sleeping, so I thought maybe this was a thread about other people who have those dreams.

I've never looked at Squidward the same way since!
