I'd say Punch-Drunk Love is his BEST movie if we mean artistic and serious.

But I haven't seen Reign Over Me yet

Do have to agree with Soulriver...Wedding Singer is great.

I loathed Punch Drunk Love. I can't think of another movie I couldn't watch all the way through.

Nothing tops the Zagat skit with Chris Farley on SNL for me, nothing never ever.

I liked because it wasn't a typical Adam Sandler movie.
It was a little unique movie and I should say gem. It is not for everybody.

So I understand how some people didn't like it.

I think it may be related to when I was a teenager and I found things hilarious, but I still laugh my ass off over Happy Gilmore. I will have to catch Punch Drunk Love one of these days.

Punch Drunk Love is his greatest work, and a superb movie, but I do have to say that his great triumvirate (sp?) of comic movies, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, and The Waterboy are brilliant as well. Yes, they're dumb, but sublimely dumb.
