If you've read all or most, please give me your chronological list of favorites so that I know what I'm doing when I go to the book store.

All I've read is Fight Club and the start of Choke, which I want to resume. I like his style.

Thank you.

Invisible Monsters, if you're looking for a challenge. I could barely get through it, it just didn't interest me at first. But it gets really good. I don't know, that's the only one I've read.

I love FC, Choke and Survivor. Lulaby and Haunted have their moments, but I can easily skip the rest.

I've only read Survivor and really liked it.

I've only read Fight Club, Choke, and Haunted. Heard Lullaby is closer to Haunted.

And I'd read them in that order...they get more and more weird / disgusting. I actually couldn't finished Haunted, and was glad I didn't.

I've read them all except his new one (Snuff), and will be picking it up soon. I recommend all of them except Diary. Kinda lost me on that one. Rant, however, was pretty good- and pretty out there, even for Chuck.

If you want the best guide to Portland, or at least my personal favorite, check out Fugitives and Refugees. I read it when I first moved here, and it had some crazy stuff in there not referenced anywhere else. Plus, it's the closest thing to an autobiography he's ever going to write.

Oh man, I wish. That's been in development hell since 9/11.

Can someone expand on this for me? I'm worried.

I'm kind of hardened to this sort of thing, so I found most of the gross stuff to be funny. To me, the nastiest story is "Guts" and it's first, so if you can stomach that (no pun intended), you can probably handle the rest of the book.
