This is one of my tattoos:

This is my nipple piercing:

And this is my latest bodymodification:

2 gumdrop implants on around 220grams each.

For me being a member of suicidegirls means respecting the girls and what they do with their body, bodymodification is a very personal choice and from Cherrys beautiful cheekpiercings:

to Dots unmodded body:

I respect and applaude them for being free women who lives in a world where we can express ourselves in any way we want to. Sadly like in all places in the world there are going to be people who hide behind anonymity to spill their venom and tags sets like my latest with things like "Implants belong in playboy" and even nastier things I dont care to repeat.

I take no offense to this bullcrap, I'm totaly aware of the fact that if you post nude photos of yourself you have to be able to handle negative critique, but since the person/s who tags sets are anonomous I cant reply and have a discussion with them so I chose to post here.

That's fucking bullshit. There's some real douchebags lurking round this site. So many people overlook breast implants & cosmetic surgery as body modification. It's a stereotype that all people with implants are either a pornstars or some dumb girl spread out in a magazine but it's not true. So many different people have them for a variety of reasons & it's just intollerant to criticise someone else's choice when it's none of your business.
By the way I think they look great wink

I totally agree with you. Bodymodifications are just one of the way you could use to express yourself. If you need it, why don't you have to do it? It's not important if you want a piercing, a tattoo or something else.
We are here to celebrate the power of the personality of everyone, expressed in a lots of different ways, aren't we?

I find this specially funny! Also when they mistake real boobs for fake ones surreal Seems like there are some sad lonely members out there who don't get to see many boobs in real life and cannot make a distinction.

Your new boobies are lovely btw!

While it is pretty rude to leave nasty comments on your set, it's not hypocritical to like some types of body modifications and not like others.

I agree. I don't like facial piercings on most people, or subdermals. Just because I think nipple rings are hot doesn't mean I have to like extremely gauged ears, boob jobs, or split tongues.

However, I don't leave negative comments about them on sets, either. Perhaps "asshole" is a better term than "hypocrite" for people who leave comments like that.

In case you hadn't noticed, SG doesn't require that their models have tattoos or piercings. It's hot naked ladies, and a great community. Enjoying those things doesn't require that you enjoy every single body mod in existence.

::edit:: Oops, I noticed you've been here less than a month. You may not yet have noticed that this site isn't exclusively for people who like body mods and tattoos (and it certainly doesn't require that we enjoy and compliment every single modification in existence -- but it does ask that we be respectful of others' choices in that department). But hey, person who's been here for a few weeks, thanks for telling those of us who've been here for six years what we need to like in order to be on this site!

*sighs*
It frustrates the fuck out of me how people think that they can be assholes behind their computer screen, and criticize a grown woman's decision to modify her body as SHE sees fit.

Don't like tattoos?
Don't get one.
Don't like piercings?
Don't get them.
Don't like implants?
Don't get them, and don't insult or belittle the women who CHOOSE to get them.

Don't like the girls who have these things?
Don't look at their sets, or, if you REALLY have to look, leave a "Not For Me" and walk away.

Yeah, a "Not for me" seems sufficient if someone must voice a negative opinion, but tastes are tastes, mods are mods, and I must agree with Shalome on the "asshole" tag for the persons mentioned in the OP.

I think it is hypocritical, though, when comments go past statements of personal taste ("I don't like facial piercings") and into the realm of patent dismissal of a certain type of body modification based on totally ridiculous criteria ("Implants belong in playboy"). It's the same type of ignorance that equates tattoos and piercings with poor hygeine and lack of ambition in life.

Also, whendidbodymodificationbecomeoneword?

Mmmmm, gum drops.

I don't know how many people talk shit in the "Fake Boobs" thread. Then I look in there SG Favorites and find girls with implants.
