is the most ridiculous fuckin idea i've ever had. Its bullshit....makes me feel even worse but i love a smoke......arghhhhhhh

any time i have ever had a cold and said "fuck it" and had a few tokes i usually ended up more sick the next day. oh well.

doesn't smoking weed (or drinking beer, or whatever) wreak havoc on your immune system, to the point where you are more likely to get sick? if that's true, then by toking up while sick, you would only get sicker.

however, if you are a rasta, then maybe it's the only medicine you need.

I got really sick once. Was throwing up for two days straight ever hour on the hour. Finally I said what the hell and toked up. Felt great right after that and went and ate a bowl of soup...

and a chillum helps you to not spread germs whilst smoking with others.

I dont think people ever stopped trying to cure everything with alcohol we just dont call it cure all tonic any more.

Everytime I smoke pot while I'm sick it makes me feel better and helps me sleep.

Weed only provides the body with more pollutants to clean out which is further taxing an already beleagured immune system. Alcohol, however, in moderate doses does actually provide some helpful things. Red wine has anti-oxidants or something? I don't recall specifically. Yeah... weed, tobacco, coffee bad; alcohol, tea good.

Pucabul, no offense but, that you would advocate alcohol instead of some ganj whilst ill is proof enough of the fact that you don't know what wtf you're talking about. I don't mean to say that weed is good for your immune system, far from it.. it depletes your vitamin C. At least you can eat an orange or take a supplement to counterbalance that whereas alcohol really just acts as a poison in your system and is in no way as easily processed. That said, I agree with BPD; vapourizers are the way to go, if not then make do with a bong. Smoking doobs, however, is bad news and, ideally, ingesting the THC is the way to go but who has the time or shake to make brownies or cookies? And Milena is right, good sedative... I started smoking weed 7 yrs ago to cure my insomnia.

Smoking pot is the only thing that took away my body aches when I had the flu.
