Yesterday, I watched the entire future of our , well, everything, walk across the stage, and get their diplomas!!!
I envied them- just starting out-none of the baggage some of us have....or most of us-along for the ride!!!
If you were to walk across the stage today- just graduating from High School- what would you do- and what would you do differently?
Would you trade your life that you have now to walk across that stage and start over?
And, if so, what are you going to do differently?

I never walked across that stage, it was indoors and I sold my tickets to buy a keg. Fuck high school!

I would have done better to avoid the debt that feels like it's piled on your shoulders the moment you unzip your graduation robe.

I'd never want to live mid-late teens and early twenties over again. While high-school is such a stressful time, your late teens and early twenties are a confusing time, you're in the final stages of forming your transition into the official adult lifestyle, after your mid-twenties it becomes harder and harder to change that image and those habits.

While i haven't lived the perfect life, i don't think i would want to change much, most of my life experiences helped form who i am today.

I, and quite a few other people from my class, over slept...after a serious senior keg party!!!!
At the time it kind of sucked, but was kind of funny...now it seems like something I missed out on...and kind of sucks...and not very funny...

+1

Also, I probably would have gone to some sort of vocational school instead of to college.

I would have wondered wtf I was doing in America. I would have avoided quite a lot of the stupid sex and mistakes with girls I made. Maybe would have tried to save some money.

Ditto.

Professionally I would do nothing differently. I've been doing the same thing since I was 16 and I love it. I work from home, make my own hours, and live quite comfortably.

Socially, I wish I knew then what I know now. There were a lot of opportunities along the years that I missed out on because I was even more socially inept than I am now.

I would have gotten a job for a few years, then gone to college, that's for fucking sure. and yeah, I'd trade it-- actually, can I start over at 3rd grade? thanks.

I would have went to the Rebel Academy with my buddy Biggs instead of staying with my Uncle and Aunt at their moisture farm on Tatooine.

Indeed, they might've lived if you had.

It's all my fault!

But hey, on the other hand, I get to be a Jedi now.

Two weeks in a swamp with a muppet and you think you're a Jedi? Pfft.
