When I was a kid, we had a cat named Cthulhu. Also, my litttle bro has the stuffed Cthulhu toy that is really cool. Next, I hear, they'll be making a Shub-niggurauth "goat with a thousand young" doll. Very funny indeed.

YES! Finally somebody found a way to market gothic horror to little kids. Now it can go mainstream!

A few years ago, my rommate Aly found a little kitty-kat that was lost. She took it in and put out flyers to let the owner know it was safe and where it could be found. During this period, Aly referred to it as "The Cat Who Shall Not Be Named" since she didn't want to get attached to it if it was gonna go back to its owner.

Well, the owner never turned up. Aly kept the cat. Named it Hastur.

She's such a geek. And so am I.

The Cthulhu plushy in my office at work now has a word bubble taped to the wall next to his head. "I'm not CUTE! I'm CTHULHU and I will eat your soul!"

Too many people called him cute.
