hey kids.
i draw a cartoon. that sort of thing happens to some of us. we spend our early lives reading comics, redrawing them.... it's pretty embarrassing.
i've been gone from here for a while (gone from sg, i mean, i had to take a break, monetary reasons mostly, but then laziness and forgetfulness, drawing cartoons doesn't make you rich most times), but from my experiences i trust the folks on this site... can you give me an honest opinion of my cartoon? i'd super big time appreciate it.

if you get the chance, y'know. no obligation.

thanks guys, in advance. x's n o's.grade D but edible!

And still no honest answers. He should've posted this in silliness.

I like the drawings a lot, but as with most webcomics, I don't get the joke -presumably because I am not sufficiently nerdy. The dialogue is cute and xkcd-esque.

I, too, must confess to my confusion. What's this bit about the wool? And what's a meandarin?

Mandarin is an Iron Man villain. His arch nemesis even.

Honest opinion, I thought it was moderately amusing. Well drawn, but not enough impact.

I think you're a very talented artist but unfortunately I did not get the jokes. Keep up the good work though. As long as you enjoy doing this then thats what should matter most.

Depends on what you know about your target audience. "comic book nerd" group has low impulse control anything we see that is like a in joke or shiny we have to have and will buy it just out of principal even if we can't usually afford to waste money.

I agree with a lot of people above. Drawing good; content could be hotter.

i dunno dude, i didn't think my approach was that narrow necessarily. i know the link went to the iron man comic, but that's because that was the day's update- it was just a front page link. there are plenty of things besides comic book/movie references (star trek:tng is in there, too.... just kidding. wait no, it's in there, but i was making a joke about how that's the widened approach....) as far as getting rich, well, one day i'd like to live off of it, but i'm going to probably keep doing it anyway.
if nothing else, i met a lot of people on this site in teh past that are into the same sort of shit as me, so i figured i'd see what you folks think... so thank you anyways for giving it a look! and if nothing else, you guys looking isn't hurting my numbers smile

I love that one.

So are you into urban legends? From that comic and the title of the comic, seems like you might be.
