What's left to be said about Iron Man? It opens today and has a leisurely two weeks to prove its mettle before Disney's Prince Caspian lands in theaters on May 16th and Indiana Jones muscles in a week later. Should the film do as well as Paramount and Marvel Studios secretly hope, there are, of course, plans afoot to turn this solo outing into a trilogy. Although at last week's press junket for the film, the four writers on hand all offered different takes on where they'd like the potential franchise...

Yay for RDJ in this role. He's one of the more talented humans to come along in decades, and always a pleasure to watch.

I'm so sorry. When I heard about it a few months ago, I thought it was going to be Samuel L. Jackson for Samuel L. Jackson's sake, which I thought was kind of stupid. But it was a Marvel fanboy's dream come true, especially for fans of The Ultimates.

This movie was GREAT!!! the Clip at the end made me and the entire crowd cheer. That was a Fanboys wet dream.( And yeah itll get made, marvel has already said they have every intension on making a avengers movie, but not until all the characters have a solo movie first.) RDJ was perfect for this, this should boost his career back up to start getting some more lead roles sense this was his first sense 97' i believe. And in my opinion this is the BEST movie Marvel has put out to date. The overall Package was perfect, lets hope for the New Hulk to be just as great.

I've seen it twice and my dumb ass didn't stay through the credits, looks like I'll be moving hopping to skip in and see that cameo.

p.s. - Any other men think they were completely straight before seeing Robert Downey Jr. in this movie?

great invterview.

Typo or not, this made me laugh my ass off.... "When I was doing Chaplin I was absolutely out of my mind in this relentless pursuit of erection." It's part of the improv answer.

Ba-zing.

At first I thought it was a typo too, but I listened to it several times and it's pretty clean -- he's saying erection. He also talks about erection at other points in the interview and he's known for verbal weirdness, so...
