What does your screenname mean to you?

It's disappointing -- I feel so misunderstood! -- that many people believe my name means the rice in sushi ... which is "sticky rice" only insofar as it clumps somewhat more readily than (the very uninteresting) steamed rice. To me it means the real sticky rice, the chewy kind from Laos and Thailand that's served in thatched baskets and you eat with your hands. If you are me, you eat rather a lot of it. Sticky rice is high in protein and is fabled to make people sleepy. We may draw various conclusions from this.

namtaks is skatman backwards. skatman is my nickname that i received when the internet first evolved. as a joke someone told me about goregallery.com and i stumbled upon some scat pictures, you know, the shit eating pics. it was called scat. anyways, all my friends were in a dorm room and i was on the computer, so i took one of those pics and put it on the screensaver and left the room. it was fucked up. no one wanted to look at the screen to cancel the screen saver so bah. i was hailed the skatman ever since. it should be the scatman but i changed it because the skat doesnt make it affiliated to shit.

Fstick is short for Fuckstick, which is obviously a direct fallic reference. I got it from my ex coworkers at Q-ZAR Lasertag..we always had kids around, and couldn't swear for (again) obvious reasons, so we started calling eachother 'stick' when we wanted to say dick or fucker, shithead whatever is your cup of tea. It was mainly used for making fun of eachother, or people that came in to play that looked like complete jerkoffs. Sounds dumb, I know, but at the time it was hilarious and had special meaning. I added the 'F' onto stick in an attempt to make it sound more like 'Fuckstick' because I didn't want to be affiliated with a twig of any sort and AOL screennames cannot have any 'curse words' in them...so it seemed to be the best answer. Sadly, I have people ask me all the time what it means, and most guess that it refers to Flickerstick..a crappy band most no one has ever heard of, or more generally 'Fichsticks' which I hope everyone has heard of If not..ask a trusting friend to explain the concept of fishsticks to you and hope they don't make fun of you for being inept.

Oops! ****Fishsticks***** not Fichsticks haha duh it's late and I'm a typo GOD..also the 13 is my lucky number.

Sorcha is the Gaelic version of my real name (Sarah). It's also a nickname, so some people call me that outside of SG situations.

I've had this screenname for over a decade. It comes from one of my favorite comics. The Badger(published by various companies most recently Image) is a comic about a schizophrenic vietnam vet who can talk to animals. I have loved this comic since Ibought my first dime box issue 12 years ago. I tried signing up various places as the_badger but it had already been taken(I assume its University of Wisconsin fans). I didn't want to have some stupid # added to my name, so I thought while I cannot be the first badger, no one will contest me calling my self the LastBadger. In the years since this name has taken on alot more meaning for me. It encourages me to never give up because I have to survive. After all what will the world be like when the last badger is gone?
