Help me with a citation.

Okay, I was seeing Lennon perform in Bowling Green KY. Everything was nice when I started my 3 hour trek back to my home in Richmond. Well a few blocks, I stopped at red light. I went to check on my CD player, I when i went back, I assumed the light was green(I know, bone headed moment) and with my luck, there was a pig.
So I got a citation. The fine for the offense is $20 but the court cost is $110.50 and I can't cough up that money within in the two weeks which it is due.

What the hell does that mean, "court cost?" I don't get it. So, wait, you can't just mail in the fine?

most courts will let you set up a payment plan. i once owed the city of tempe over $1300, so to piss them off i was paying them less than $50 payments, over a span of a couple years. finally i just paid the balance with a credit card so that i could legally drive my new car.

just call the court and ask... i'm sure they'll be glad to take your money, even if it's just a little bit of it at a time.
