So this guy who makes him self look like Santa Clause comes into work the other day. He gabs it up with the servers and gives them these color copies of his picture. He gives the same picture to some kiddos in the restaurant.

The next day he comes back in and asks for the servers that he talked to the previous night. He hands them this Christmas card he made and asked them if they would like some of these cards to give to family and friends. They say yes. So he tells them he will be back tomorrow with some cards for them.

He comes back the next day with a box full of these Christmas cards. They're nice too. It has him as Santa Clause on the front cover and a cute lil X Mas story on the inside. He drops them off really fast and takes off. The servers open the box and what do they find? A BILL FOR LIKE $400.00!!!!! He wanted them to buy these cards from him and sell them to people!!!!! They contact him and try to return it, saying it was a big misunderstanding. So what happens??

A couple days later, his lawyer shows up at the restaurant saying his client is going to sue them for breach of contract or some ridiculous shit like that. Moral of the story: If you were told that Santa doesn't exist when you were younger, there was a reason. Santa is an asshole.

Can he do this? Crazy world we live in.

I couldn't believe it either! I was working as a cashier all those days. I remeber one of those days he called and it was like this:

Jizz: Thank you for calling ____. This is Jessica, how may I help you?
Santa: Jessica, this is Santa Clause. I was in your store the other day. Do you remember? Is Barb or Tudy there? Take your time. I can wait.
Jizz: Um...yeah.

What a weirdo. I wonder how much money he has gotten from this scam. puke

Sue? Hardly. There wasn't even a verbal contract, since all he asked was if "they'd like some to give to family and friends". It doesn't sound like he implied buying and selling would be occuring at all.

And come on. $400 for cards? Please.

[edit: The title of this thread is hilarious, by the way.]

Oh, I agree. There was no expressed contract to sell the cards. But it's his word against their's. The whole thing is idiotic. I just find it funny that he was able to pick the two most red-necked, illiterate, and idiotic employees we have in the whole restaurant.

Exactly, his word against theirs. And the burden is on him to prove the case. If he can't present a signed contract, he's got nothing.
