Caller ID on TV

My Nana and Grandpa have DirecTV, and they have that nice little feature. I'd have to agree w/you.

if you have telephone through your cable company, or at least with some cable companies, when the phone rings the caller ID info comes up on your TV if it's on.

sounds nice... guess it'll avoid me the trouble of getting up to see who it is... even if I won't answer anyway, lol

I believe this also requires one of your cable companies set-top boxes. As far as I know, it's not supported by any existing CableCARD devices. That might change once two-way devices start hitting though, which I think should be later this year.

I love it, it appears before my phone rings sometimes which I think is funny.

I love it. It gives me even more to generally ignore the caller.
