Dude! not cool!
It's sexual assualt, and sexual assault is very very bad. especially when the perpetrator shows no remorse!

No, it's not. It's all about the abuse of trust/power. The kind of guy that does things like that goes on to do worse. I know as something similar happened to a friend of a friend, and the guy involved wound up raping someone.

It's the sort of story some bloke would send into FHM or Loaded or some men's magazine.

I'm willing to bet that if she had it on video he could go to prison.

That's quite a bold statement, just because a friend of a friend went on to be a rapist doesn't mean this guy will and certainly doesn't mean most people who do something like that will.
It's like saying that most people who poured salt on a slug will go on to be a serial killer or mass animal killer.

It is, but I stand by it. (It was the friend of a friend that got assaulted, and the guy that became the rapist, but that's by the by) It's not a 100% certainty, but it's all about patterns of behaviour and the whole 'power trip' rapists get off on. If someone gets away with something like that once, the chances are they'll do it again.

Matt_M said:

I see the point you're making, but statistically, almost all serial killers began with animal cruelty as children. I'm not sure if all rapists 'start small and build up' but that kind of behaviour is self-perpetuating, and those that do things like that tend to keep doing it.
Do you really not have a problem with what that guy did?

Hello?! Am I the only one who is thinking this isn't anything close to rape OR sexual assult?

I mean she was sucking him off in the first place. If she can get herself that drunk and invite some guy from work into her apartment and subsequently go down on him, she was consenting. Say she hadn't fallen asleep? The liklehood is that he would have come all over her face anyways.

Either way, it's probably fiction... this guy's bragging, can't you tell? I think it's funny as hell.

Cherry - I thought I was going mad being the only one thinking that.

Spike - I still don't buy the 'he'll go on to be a rapist' thing. There is a world of difference between the two. I've heard of guys fingering girls when they've been asleep, yeah it's not right but it's not the path to being a rapist!
What this guy did is nowhere near rape and it's not even close to sexual assault.
I'm not saying it's right, clearly it's out of order, but it's no worse than 100 other stories like this i've read and to tell you the truth these stories you'll find in mens magazines like FHM designed to amuse the reader.

yeah alot of serial killers did torture animals at a young age, they also masturbated over their mothers and did alot of other fucked up shit.
Fact is, most kids who poured salt on slugs will not go on to be killers.

one of them was a hot bacon and egg with brown sauce, the other ham, salad and beetroot.
and i had to borrow £4 to get them

this has to be for real; who would make up shit like this biggrin biggrin biggrin

Assuming it is real, it may indeed be fiction, yeah, she migh've consented at first, but once she passed out, that should've been the end of it. Would you like to have woken up in that kind of condition and now known what might have happened to you? I can only think how bad I would feel and certainly wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I understand what you're saying, Spike... but i would never have gotten myself in that condition in the first place. To get yourself that drunk, accept a lift home from a guy, then invite him in and subsequently go down on him! It's kind of her own fault... I mean... he could have come on her face while she was still awake, and then she fell asleep, before they cleaned up... the guy in question could have fled home all embarassed, but then it would still look the same to her in the morning...

She's was an adult... she made some decissions, and those were the consequences...

It's a little different to someone being sexually assulted or raped without *any* consent to such debauchery.

Speaking from a woman's point of view... if this did indeed happen; If she was really crying and telling the whole office about it... it's not because she thought she was horrifically violated, but probably moreso embarassed, and horrifically sickened by herself... she wanted to get her side of the story out first (with tears) before whoever did it could go in and brag to the office.

I can't make you agree with me, and don't know how many female friends you may know that have been in that kind of situation, but I've known quite a few girls that have been abused and raped, so maybe I just have a different perspective on it.

I talk about really inappropriate shit sometimes but I doubt I'd tell my co-workers some fucked up shit like that. I'd be more apt to call
RAINN (a rape and incest crises center) Tori Amos and Natalie Merchant are HUGE contributors to RAINN.

Boys and girls- if you find yourself in a situation like this~ give RAINN a call. Don't try to seek help near your office water cooler.

Gross. People can be pretty gross. I believe it may be a true confession. I feel sorry for both of them. Sorry she got splooged all over and left for dead and sorry for him cuz he's on the verge of being a total serial killer. (why did he have to make sure NO ONE saw him give her a ride home?)

Cherry= TOTALLY. If she woke up and serioulsy hadn't remembered anything- I think her first thought would have been one of two things.
Most women after being raped or sexually abused try to HIDE it from EVERYONE. Even denying it to themselves.
The second instince would have been to call a close friend. (this friend if they are any type of friend at all- would have taken her to the hospitol to be checked for vaginal tears n such.)

Understandably- it could have gone in many different directions. I'm saying that those are two POPULAR choices.

Of course NATURALLY the third choic would be to go tell all your co-workers at the office water cooler. RIGHT?

Well, yeah... that's what I was saying.

_____________

Anyways, in short: I don't think the guy's too much at fault... like I said if she'd still been awake it probably would have still ended that way.

I just find it hillarious that a. it's probably fiction and loads of people are totally overreacting. and b. that if it's not fiction he feels he needs to tell the world.

Either way it's fucking funny.
