The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington chemistry mid-term. The answer by one student was so "profound" that the professor shared it with colleagues via the Internet which is, of course, why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it as well.



"University of Washington" and "profound" have never before been used in a sentence. Sure, our med students may be top-notch, but still... it's chem...

My favorite is the one about the philosophy class where the final was the following:

"Why?"

The student who answered "Why not?" recieved an A.

This was neat, though. I liked it, true or not.
