The Friend Zone? Maybe you shouldn't label people, man. You shouldn't compartmentalize people into your little compartments. The world is more than black and white, it's shades of grey, it's man and woman, man, and that's all that's needed. You weren't there, you don't know, you can't know! But what else could I expect from a bunch of low-rent no-account hoodlums like you, hoodlums, yes, I mean you and your friends, your whole sex, throw 'em in the sea for all I care, throw 'em in an' wait for the bubbles, men with your groping and spitting all groin no brain three billion o' ya passin' around the same worn-out urge. Men! with your... sales!
i was friends with this guy for abou a year before we started dating. (note, i had a boyfriend for that year, so i don't know if that really counts...but nothing ever happened between us or anything.) and then i dated the friendzone boy for awhile...but i got bored.

Yes. Yes, I have. We were friends for almost a year, and then one night we looked at each other and started going at it like rabid wolverines high on angel dust. Ended up being the girl I lost my virginity to.
Looking back on it, it's almost a bad thing, because it gives me false hope that I might successfully remove myself from The Dreaded Friendzone in a similar fashion again.

nah see, the crazy man above makes more sense than he seems. you are not in the friend zone until it is officially labeled that way. there are people who dislike each other right away who eventually end up together, but once you become "just friends" do you ever get out. that is the question. I am going with richiedagger and saying no, however I am hoping to here some stories to make me believe in everything that is good and right in the world.
