Hey

I don't know if anyone has spoken about this yet, I did have a look around before posting so don't have a go if its been mentioned before but I was wondering what everyone's thought's on the new Blade Film comming out soon.

Its rumoured to have Triple H from the WWE in it but I am having doubt's about his acting ability away from the WWE as I have seen a few WWE shows and don't think much of his acting, they should have picked someone like The Rock from WWE who I must say can act pretty damn well!!!

i though underworld was blade 3 blackeyed

1) buff and in well shape
2) their job involves acting and protraying characters in constantly changing storylines.
3) they are are trained to take punches and falls(trained stuntmen).

Hmm can't see why you want them in action movies confused

Why pay for a actor to play a supporting role and then have to train them and then hire a stuntman.

I think it's gold mine for talented actors for to play in action movies i mean you can't base the abilties of all the wrestlers on hogan's piss poor movies what about ventura he did great in "predator" and " running man"

triple h and kevin nash would make great villains.

p.s When wrestlers are casted to portray characters in tear jerking dramatic films then you know hollywood is really reaching bok

Williamj, That sounds wicked and I do hope Triple H pulls off a good role even though I don't really like him but hey everyone deserves a chance, and also talking about actors doing their own stunts The Rock actually has done his own stunts in his new movie The Rundown {well most of them} and I must admit knowing The Rock, it should be one good film as he knows how to act smile

I just hope it is better than Blade 2. *gah* What a terrible movie. Blade was fantastic, except for the end, so if they can live up to the first movie and stick the ending they will have a great movie on their hands.

I hope The Rock doesn't turn into Hulk Hogan and make (not very good) poor rated films ie...Mr Nanny, ok yeah for its time it was an ok film for kids but Rock is different as he likes to entertain most generations as he did in The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King....ok yeah some kids may gett scared of watching those films but Rock has done them for all ages and they are good films in my mind so time will tell smile

HHH is a one dimensional & boring. So I don't have high hopes for him in this movie. Or the movie itself for that matter.

The Rock on the other hand is one of the most charasmatic people in the world. Love him or hate him, you can't deny him that.

True, I have recently been watching WWE as he has become evil and I must admit he is just as good evil as he is a good guy so I agree with you Cherie that without a doubt The Rock is one of the most charasmatic people and also entertaining people in the world {huge Rock fan here} and I hear he is making another film but unfortunately I forgot what it was called eeek

The Rock's new movie is called "Walking Tall" and he's going to be in a movie called "Spy Hunter" aswell.

And Triple H may be considered for the part of Conan in the sequel "King Conan: Crown of Iron" if the movie is made.

The guy who wrote Blade 1 and helped produce it. Will now be directing this one. Maybe he can bring back that cool "mood" the first one had.

Walking Tall (post production)

When a former member of the U.S. Army Special Forces (the Rock) returns to his small hometown in rural Washington State to revive his family's lumber mill business, he discovers that much has changed, as the normally tranquil town is now besieged by drugs, outbreaks of violence and a general feeling of malaise and terror, with many pointing a finger at the influence of a crooked casino where his ex-girlfriend now works as a dancer. Seeking to wreak vengeance, with a four-foot-long 2-by-4 in his hand, and righteousness in his heart, the highly-trained soldier, now the county's sheriff, and his deputy, realizes it's time to bust some heads with a very hard piece of wood.

well I have one word for that and that word is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet hehe, that sounds like one kick ass film but I wonder if he will do The Rock Bottom in it like he does in The Rundown just like he did The Peoples Eyebrow at the end of The Scorpion King I must admit I did chuckle at that. smile

maybe he's just a shitty character? How much of that show is in the writing? (in loosest possible sense of the term)

Writing has a lot to do with it yes but he's still a shitty actor too.

Hogan also has a cameo in the new Punisher flick.

The Rock is being seriously considered to play Conan. It is what Arnold wants and is pushing for.

RVD would like to play Ghost Rider as he is a huge fan of the character. Nic Cage is on the inside track for the role.

Avi Arad has had an interest in Trish Stratus playing Sue Storm in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie.

"The guy who wrote Blade 1 and helped produce it. Will now be directing this one. Maybe he can bring back that cool "mood" the first one had."

the same guy who wrote blade 1 wrote blade 2 as well. and blade 3; back when blade first came out, i read a bit of an interview with him talking about his plans for the trilogy. (this was way before blade 2 was a given)

blade 2 was originally going to be blade teaming up with the vampires to fight morbius, the old spiderman villian. i forget morbius's deal, but he was called 'the living vampire' and may have been a mutant with vampiric powers, or something.

anyways -- that ended up becoming the reapers in blade 2.

for the record, i loved blade 2, and can't wait for hellboy by the same team, but i can see how it's a step down, plot-wise, from the first one. it's a lot more fun though.

point being -- if you want to blame somebody for blade 2 being silly, blame the same guy who made blade 1 cool. all del toro did was give it his style, which i think is great. awesome lighting and some cool designs and dialogue... i don't see what's not to like, but whatever.

blade 3, all he said was that it'd be set after the blood apocalypse, which is what i read awhile back, although now it looks like it's blade and pals in a last ditch attempt to stop the vampires from taking over the world, rather than being set after the takeover. still, could be pretty cool. i just hope the writer learned SOMETHING, from either movie, or those of you who hated blade 2 will get to see what bad moviemaking is really all about.

also: go here to check out imdb's blade: trinity page...
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0359013/

jessica biel as whistler's (grand)daughter?? i don't know about this. it's got a LOT of potential, but it could easily go really really bad. still, i've liked both so far, and most people hated two, so if three is any good at all, should be watchable at least.

i mean, hell, i even liked underworld.
