fuck postal service i gave there album a try after i found out my gf liked them and the song such great heights was getting big, but from a producers pov there drums are crapp, and do you people even know how to master anything, for fucks sake please spare our ears by not making anything else from the postal service, cant even make mp3's what a fucking idiot, btw your songs are so pussiey
From a reader's POV, that post was crapp. Spelling is easier than producing, yet you fucked it up.
I'm surprised he didn't suggest Her Space Holiday to people who like Postal Service. I finally gave in and got myself addicted to "Give Up", but I can't stop thinking how much it sounds like HSH's "The Young Machines." So.... there you go.
Also, most Postal Service fans probably already know one-man-show Iron & Wine covered the song "Such Great Heights." While I don't think the bands have the same appeal, I'm a hippie at heart and have always loved the incredible mystical mellow sounds of Iron & Wine. Check him out if you've never heard him. I'd say the album "Our Endless Numbered Days" is the best to start with, but he also has a great collaboration with Calexico called "In the Reins."

Wow, this old interview just popped up on the homepage.
The Postal Service is awesome. I do see how someone could compare their sound to New Order and/or Pet Shop Boys (also very amazing bands). I can't wait to see what comes out next from Postal Service. Awesome interview
