Hey I know this won't mean much to the American constituent, howver I'm a severe bicycle lover. Looking for some nice 100 to 200 mile per day bikes for solo or duo travel with rough roads and mountains . The best bikes I could find specs on are made by Cannondale. Cool I live in the USA, heck I live less than 200 miles from where they are made. So I send Cannondale an Email asking if theres anyway for me to get one of their bikes, I offer to come to the factory heck I could take a bus there and ride home. They tell me they appreciate my enthusiasm for their bikes, but if I want to buy one I should goto Europe. At first I'm a bit pissed. Then I think heck, I'm young why the hell not goto Europe, test drive all the bikes, pick one and ride across Europe, I might even meet a girl on the way! Anyway thats kinda the plan now. I was just wondering if any of the European Suicide girl members had opinions on the some of these bikes.
1. Touring Ultra http://gb.cannondale.com/bikes/08/ce/model-8TS2.html a nice little touring bike. Not totally efficient due to mountain bike tires, but has lockout air pressure adjustable shock. nice comfortable and can be used in any condition can even do some grass riding in bad road conditions.

2.Trekking Utra Pretty much same as teh Touring ultra , but with road tires

3. Street 1 Same bike essentially road tires or tyres but disc brakes

Any of these 3 bikes would probably rock my world. I'm just wondering from the European crowd whats your opinion. Heck if you know a better bike let me know, my limit on a bike is 3,000 Euros.

Thanks in advance for any advice. I'm going to have to pay 3000 dollars US just to go test ride these bikes, which is a fifth of what I make a year after bills and taxes atm.

Again thank you everyone for your input.

Join the SG Bicycle Club group. There are some pretty knowledgeable folks in there.
