the whole idea of standardizing language as a whole has seemed pretty ridiculous to me lately. does it really matter what is said and how as long as the idea is conveyed? an icon of a middle finger and "me want food" explain clearly with very little what complex language does for those not lazy enough to ignore it. yet, broken english remains funny.

New Yorkers (like me, most of my life) say tawk, but rahk] and cahk.
