Well, my parents made me up as Satan for my first Halloween, so I understand the impulse of silly moms and dads. Like is a Freddy Kruger costume more or less offensive, than a pimp costume? I think Halloween is about being offensive and over-the-top, even for kids. Why must they be so protected, all the time? It's one day and they're so hopped up on sugar, they don't really get the significance. Vive la Halloween! skull
