ahahahha....well, sort of.

Does anybody know if you can prepare & file an advance directive (aka living will) by yourself, or does i thave to be done by a lawyer. I've tried to do research online and I just can't find what I'm looking for.

I want to be able to have a legal document that says not to keep me on life support if I go veggie.

Thanks.

you could just tattoo it on your chest, but i doubt that would be legally binding.

Make certain that whoever you select to make/carry out medical decisions for you does not have "issues" with your objectives. You want someone who will pull-the-plug because they care/love you and not refuse to pull-the-plug because they care/love you. You should also discuss this decision with your doctor.

You'd have to sign it yourself for that. And get it witnessed. Should be fun.

After the Terry Schiavo debacle there was a ton of info going around about wills and living wills. So do I remember any of it? NO. Did I do anything about it? NO.
