She is nude in two different french films. The photos shown here are from one called Le Libertine. It is available as a region 2 dvd from french web shops.

I actually have Le Libertine on DVD. I don't speak French, I have no idea what the movie is about...but don't think that's stopped me from watching it. Sometimes, she looks so beautiful...it hurts.

I dunno. I dont think shes that cute.

Actually I kinda think shes the current Pretentious Sex Symbol. Kinda like how Claire Danes was in the mid 90's or how Freud was in the early 20th Century.

Either way, I dont think I drink enough PBR to be attracted to her.

I think Amelie is probably the most popular French film in the United States. Sadly, this isn't saying much as our country has little appreciation for foreign films, and when we do, it's usually Japaneese films. Amelie has generated a cult following amongst film majors and cinema buffs, basically artsy people in general, but has no mainstream audience.

Brotherhood of the What?

On another note:

I miss watching Amelie with my ex. She was a French major and, while she didn't speak the language fluently, knew enough French to point out the little anti-American jabs that weren't translated right by the subtitles. wink

For example, it's not people in "old movies" who don't watch the road while driving which annoys Amelie, it's people in "American movies". Listen when you watch it, you can definately hear the word "American" in there. tongue

Really ? but Amelie is not a little french movie ; it is a big movie with a lot of money (for France of course).

Unless your shooting sarcasm all over me, I would say you'd like this movie. It's....awesome. Best movie about secret wolf cults and ninja indians ever.

Had to revive this thread since I just finished watching Dirty Pretty Things (Audrey's first English speaking film). I had mixed feelings about the film, but it was the second Audrey Tautou film I had seen and it just reminded me of how much I love her. I fully intend to see every film of hers I can get a hold of. I love her so much. This thread needs to stay as far up on the boards as possible. Especially since it shows her boobies!

Cheers for reviving this thread - I missed it first time around.

I worship Audrey Tautou!
