Do you really not know Eddie Izzard?
Very funny transvestite comedian / actor. Not sure he'll be a particularly good Doctor though. His acting just never seems convincing to me but that could be because I'm used to seeing him as himself.

Even when he's not in drag he's a really funny guy, the new doctor who though? I knew the show was always camp, but thats maybe a bit too far

Of course I know Mr. Izzard. Babies on spikes, President of Burundi, Arranging matches. I was just playing on the Dr. Who bit. I never cared for Dr. Who, but I'll definitely be taking a look now that he could be in it.

Eddie would meke a fantastic Doctor, although i'd prefer Englebert Humperdink.
