Hm. Hummingbird was the first word anyone ever heard me speak.

I don't know? I thought it would be entertaining. 50-60 of those eggs could fit easily into my hand without spilling over. I just thought it was AN EXTREMELY AMAZING THING.
I cant help it- I just think they are super ADORABLE.
I especially liked the pic of the toothpic to show their size.
the OMSI museum has an exhibbit on eggs one year and I just thought it was the coolest shit ever. One of the eggs was an ostridge egg. for shits n giggles they stuck a nest of hummingbird eggs next to it- I probably looked at it for 20 minutes.
Guess birds and eggs arent everyones thing- no biggy.
Bird's arent really my thing either- but you have to ADMIT that HUMMINGBIRDS are pretty AMAZING
creatures.

Hummingbirds are cool. Baby birds are icky though
My girl nursed one to health once that fell out of a tree. It was so young its skin was trasparent and you could see all his bones and guts and poop and stuff. Bleck!!!!!!!
He haunted my dreams for like a month...

My son picks up feathers all the time to bring home as keepsakes.- It grosses me the fuck out.

But HUMMINGBIRDS are cool.

I just crashed the car- I gotta get off of here and go get yelled at some more.

I was one in my past life

i love hummingbirds. we had a few females fighting over our feeders this year. and one more timid male.

When I livid in Mission Hills, there were lots of Hummingbirds at my feeder. Sweet little birds.
