Well hell. Maybe I should start cheering for Edmonton.

Ugh... Vancouver's bad enough. No need to be a complete hockey waste.

No. They give you all December 25th off because it's been a traditional holiday for a long time, because people need holidays, and because the insane "let's eat the world" consumer rampage that leads up to it is a massive economic boost, and because some baby was supposedly born around that date who later grew into a man who beat up capitalists and said radical things like "love thy neighbor".

But mostly they do it because if they didn't more people would protest the sudden lack of celebration than currently protest it's existence.

Pshaw! I cheer my hometown, and, currently, that's Van City.

Next year it might be Ottawa, though. GO SENS!

Well, yeah. But that has less to do with cheering for the Oilers than it does with living in Edmonton! eeek

Nope.
Luckily, I probably ignore you more when there is hockey on.

Go Devils, and go Bruins.

I really do need to watch more hockey.

Also, to get back on topic, I signed the petition. Why? Why not?

God, lawyers think they know everything about everything. Go back to the kitchen and draft me a subpoena.

Oh right, and those protesters would be Christians, not pagans.

Some of them. Mostly they'd be people who were pissed off about not having a holiday.
