love the man, but lately I'm feeling like he's overrated.. anyone read Stranger Than Fiction? it was god-fucking-awful, and it had innumerable typographical errors. -spaz-

Man, I remember seeing him once at the Printers' Row Bookfair in Chicago...

I had never seen a photo of him before, so I'm expecting this hardass ex-military "I-can-survive-at-the-north-pole-with-just-my-bowie-knife" kinda guy. He was wearing a pink shirt and looked like he could be my accountant...

Amazing fucking author, though biggrin

Very true. His books are twisted in the slightest and let you see a glimpse of soceity the way i see it. Amazing, I love his work. Great Interview. Thanks SG.

"Survivor" is definitely in my all time Top 5 novels. Its also hugely influential, without being plagiarised, in the novel I've been developing for the last four years (I'm getting into Bret Easton Ellis "Glamorama" territory here).

Only 42 days now until "Haunted" comes out over here. No matter how high my "To Read" pile is, that will jump to the top because like all his other books, I've read them cover to cover in one sitting.

I just hope that someone as visionary as David Fincher starts turning Chuck's other books into films.

No, that sounds like it would be a lot of fun.

Unlike my life, which is more like something by Jane Austen.

"Since change is constant - you wonder if people crave death because it's the only way you can ever really get anything done. "

"Because nothing is ever as perfect as you imagine it"

Chuck is so insightful. He is without question the best author I have evere come across, his work is so influencial in my life. Everyone should read him - and really read it, underline interesting quotes and notice patterns.
