Cannibal Corpse was one of the first metal bands I ever heard. I was maybe 12, and my next door neighbor was 14 or 15. Anyway, he played them one night, and I just knew I was going to Hell.

Turns out I was right.

Benton only sang on 'A Skull Full of Maggots' way back in the day.

Barnes is a pussy now, SFU is weak. Corpse is still kicking ass, though.

It's pretty clear that the interview was a bit... less music oriented than most interviews with members of CC. Plenty of personal stuff about him and his relationship to the band, but none of the questions were particularly interesting as someone interested in CC's material through the years.

However, I'd have to say that this is the only interview with George I've read that involved asking about porn preferences, haha.

Maybe it's more interesting for him to respond to weird questions anyways. The guys get grilled by press every time they have a new album or they go on tour.

Good job on at least covering a veteran death metal band. Now, if only we could get a Suffocation interview on here...

Alright, Daniel your a dumb ass first you start out the interview but putting "Chris Barnes" instant of that dork George's name Chris Barnes was the old lead singer of Cannibal before he got kicked out and made Six Feet Under, Witch kicks Cannibal's ass anyday, and secondly Glen Benton never did lead vocals for CC he did one back-up track on the "Eat'en back to life" cd get your shit straight you know nothing about death metal.

I honestly thought Monstrosity was better than either Cannibal Corpse or SFU. George is a fantastic vocalist, but In Dark Purity was just fine without him. Florida's got some of the best death metal bands, no doubt.
