Is it just me or does the word detrimental make absolutely no sense in context of his post?

So space colonization is a realistic thing for us to be thinking about doing because it will also be bad for our survival as a species.

If I am not mistaken most indigenous populations of the region and nearby area counted time in cycles? Not sure but i thought this was a fairly common thing at that time?

RE: Sacrifices....we need to bring them back. Creation is precarious after all and what better way than to commemorate er... uhm consummate...hmm not quite the word I was after...ah well perhaps just for the hell of it, bring it back! biggrin
