I just don't imagine it's much fun to study for that certificate, that's all. Plus, I hope I'll never have to take on jobs where my familiarity with a certain piece or suite of software is of crucial importance.

I find the MS certs to be a treadmill. With an awful amount of work and study every few years. No thanks, I don't particularly need it, and my company probably wouldn't boost my pay as a result of me getting it.
