please. anyone. i'm begging you. i fucking need some spider jerusalem glasses. i have the spider tat. last night i got the big chest tat. i will be expanding from here. but for the love of god i can't find the glasses ANYWHERE. DC released them quite a while ago, and from what i hear they pop up on ebay once in a while but i've never seen them. so if ANYONE can either find these, or rig up a pair for me i would be willing to pay you and adorn you in my love forever. for reference if you don't know what i'm talking about this is what they look like:

i don't care if they are EXACTLY the same, but i want them at least very close. please help a poor spyder out.

Dude, a welding iron and two pairs of cheap frames will do the trick.

Just make sure that the area is well ventilated. Solder fumes are pretty bad for you.

It's not very healthy to pretend you're a man from the future who is pretending to be an old man from the past who Johnny Depp pretended to be once. On another note, if anyone has a bead on Cyclops' ruby quartz visor, I would be grateful in addition to being completely awesome. Ah, I'm just messing with you Userlame, you're all right kid.

Depending on how handy you are with a pair of needle-nosed pliars, I recon you could probably re-shape a round frame to make it rectangular like those are... It might be a bit tricky, but I'd've thought it would be possible. Try thrift stores for old frames you can use for practice...

As for Cyclop's visor... I really have no ideas other than ebay or maybe websites to do with costuming... I have a pair of the Oakley Juliets like the ones in the movies, but they don't have the ruby quartz lenses. Those are seriously limited edition. Most of the ones you see on ebay are Juliet's with the orange plasma lenses photographed in shadow to make them look like ruby quartz (mine have the grey mirror lenses the same color as the X Metal frames. Best sunglasses I ever brought)
Good luck on your respective hunts.

I know what you mean- I've been trying to find a cell phone like the ones in "The Matrix", and they don't even fuckin' sell 'em over here!

Man, this thread should be all about shit you see in movies that you wish existed, or could get somehow.

Hah, wow this is an old thread. Yes, I do now have a pair of spider glasses thanks to an act of immense kindness. And some do pop up on ebay quite often and yes, are quite expensive.

Just out of curiousity...how on earth did you come about this thread?

My local costume store has ones that look really close to the movie version. I'm sure costume stores around NY have the exact same ones.
