hmmm. i can't decide if i prefer the pikey kids coming round my front door demanding sweets in exchange for not nicking my hubcaps, or the 13 year old wannabes who come into work and invite me to parties in the graveyard if i bring some free booze from work. whatever

My favorite thing about it this year is that it's on a Friday. Now I can be a drunken monster and not have to worry about waking up at work covered in what could very well be fake or real blood.

the most best part of halloween is going to screamers. every year in toronto part of the exhibition grounds (an amusement park) is filled with haunted houses and mazes and stuff. its been kinda lame and its becoming more for little kids but years ago it was great. when i become rich im gonna do that to wonderland and get bands like korn, disturbed and manson to come play all nite and have huge mountains of free candy everywhere.

Autumn blown leaves.

Assembling silly-spooky decorations that involve tissue-waffle spheres.

Seeing people with an excuse to get wild and fun in public.

coming from a family that's managed to plaster its Irish Catholic veneer lightly ove'r its gleefully pagen heart...and the fact that Halloween (Samhain DAMMIT!) is also my mother's birth'day (yes yes witch jokes galore!) Oct 31st has always been a fun day since I was a kid. and, I've alw'ays liked ghosts and goblins and those type's of things. not to mention Autumn is my favorite time ,of the year and Oct is consis'tently my ,favorite month of the year....I just love Halloween...and I don't even eat candy much. figures..mom born on Halloween and me on East'er and I don't eat candy.
