Stupidity makes for ratings, a la The Simple Life.

i just wanna throw it out there that yes the romans did believe in the Jewish god and went so far as have a bull sacrificed to the Jewish god daily... The romans believed in the old is gold philosophy in which the Jewish people had religious clout due to the fact that they had been around for so long. As a result the new christian cult that developed in Hellenistic rome rode the coat tails of the Jews and gained authority by saying that they had the same scriptures as the Jews just slightly tweaked

Okay..can't believe these people exist... Even if you read the bible it tells of AGES of people before Christ. It speeks of him as a profit...if he did die for all man's sins...there would have to have been man there to die for...DUH! I'm not a christian, but if I was, I'd be pissed this woman get's airtime. She calls herself a christian, but doesn't know the very BASIC tales from the bible...
Props to whoopie for letting it go though. If it's one thing I've learned, the ignorant don't take these convos well.

Let's not forget, this is the same idiot who, on the same show, could not answer the question: "Is the world was flat?"

I'm surprised she's not running for president... she's retarded, a minority, and female - the perfect combination of what we're used to with Bush and something just different enough for the fundies to make a weak argument for her.

"But - she's black! And a woman! I thought you liberals liked diversity??"

Frankly, I'm just tired of high-profile stupid people. I want somebody smart in the news, and not because they killed some people. Somebody needs to cure cancer or something so we can actually think happy thoughts.

Wait, she has kids then....Oh god...and dumb people like to fuck like rabbits so we are going to have like 8 really stupid mother fuckers thinking that jesus came before jesus and the world is flat and...we just de-evolved to a time that she doesn't even think exists. What the fuck is the husband like then? What are the grandparents like? Were they smarter than this dumb bitch? Has the family gene pool de-evolved to this point or has it evolved to this point?

Anyway I think my point is...don't impregnate a sibling.

I feel nauseous after reading this article. It makes me physically ill to hear idiots like this biblical "scholar" Sherri Shepherd talk. Scholar? Really?

Actually, you feel nauseated.

Ah-ha, well.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
Main Entry: nau·seous
Function: adjective
Date: 1612
1 : causing nausea or disgust : nauseating
2 : affected with nausea or disgust
nau·seous·ly adverb
nau·seous·ness noun
usage: Those who insist that nauseous can properly be used only in sense 1 and that in sense 2 it is an error for nauseated are mistaken. Current evidence shows these facts: nauseous is most frequently used to mean physically affected with nausea, usually after a linking verb such as feel or become; figurative use is quite a bit less frequent. Use of nauseous in sense 1 is much more often figurative than literal, and this use appears to be losing ground to nauseating. Nauseated is used more widely than nauseous in sense 2.

No offence.

Usage Note: Traditional critics have insisted that nauseous is properly used only to mean "causing nausea" and that it is incorrect to use it to mean "affected with nausea," as in Roller coasters make me nauseous. In this example, nauseated is preferred by 72 percent of the Usage Panel. Curiously, though, 88 percent of the Panelists prefer using nauseating in the sentence The children looked a little green from too many candy apples and nauseating (not nauseous) rides. Since there is a lot of evidence to show that nauseous is widely used to mean "feeling sick," it appears that people use nauseous mainly in the sense in which it is considered incorrect. In its "correct" sense it is being supplanted by nauseating.

No offense

I agree with this whole thing. Every since she has been on the show she has been pissing me off. But, she spouts off stuff on her political and religous high horse of incorrect knowledge which is what Rosie did most of the time as well. Both are horrible, I am glad Rosie is gone and I wish Sherrie was on her way out as well.

Sadly I am not at all surprised to hear that people think like this. She sounds like the average parishioner at the church my family attends.
