once they made it OTC, it went from $10 a pill to $50.
And now my healthcare providers won't prescribe it at prescription prices since it's available OTC.
Go to Planned Parenthood, you are in California so you can get on what is known as the State Funded Program if you make under 1,750 a month. Or if you are on a type of health insurance then you may have it prescribed and can be paid for by said insurance (e.g. Medi Cal, Blue Cross Medi Cal, Western Health Advantage, etc.)
On the state funded program you can get up to 13 months of a birth control method and Plan B's. Not too mention the fact that we are still offering Birth Control at it's old price and not at the new 900% increase.

funny because target allows its pharmacists to refuse to dispense plan b.
are you serious? do you know any of the details? i wonder what they base their refusals on... hmmm.
It's not a general refusal, but they allow their pharmacists to refuse to dispense plan B if they personally have a "moral objection" to doing so.
Planned Parenthood has also set up a campaign called "Fill My Pills Now" and it deals with Pharmacies that have policies like this. Check it out and see if your pharmacy is on the good list or the naughty list!
the condom slipped off. a friend lent me $50. i went to my local 24 hour walgreens (i called first to make sure they had it in stock), and the pharmacist was super nice and made me laugh. i didn't get sick, or feel even mildly nauseas.
so it's not always a tough experience.

My girlfriend used it once and I am thankful for it. The folks at planned parenthood actually gave her another, along with a year supply of birth control and more condoms then you can shake your fist at. I love that place.
As someone who volunteers with Planned Parenthood and love love LOVES it. You go in once, fill out some shit and get the pill. THEN, whenever you need it again you can just stop by or get some extras to keep in your drawer.
This is one more instance of an SG newswire editor writing a positive story that I assume to be sarcastic until I realize it's over and there was no final jab.
I thought this was going to be like when you got the email from Details. I'm cool with a break from the sarcasm, but it's starting to be like the boy who cried wolf.
