I don't really care about Joe Francis (or Family Guy for that matter), but I jus had to say that this is a pretty shitty editorial. I don't really understand your beef with the guy, unless you know someone he personally took advantage of. I'm not saying he has the greatest morals, but neither do I. I guess we can't all be perfect and write for suicidgirls...a shame. And yeah, prisoner abuse is awesome.

Maybe next time...write about something that matters.

Yeah, totally... what's my "beef" with that rapey, frat-guy thug... Unless he's hurt someone I know personally, why worry about it, right?

You are a spot on judge of character. He does not, in fact, have the best morals... Well done. And good luck with your job as an FBI profiler... I look forward to your assessments of other notorious fuckwits. (Charles Manson- Um, seems a little out of it...)

Obviously you don't have to be perfect to write for suicidegirls. I mean, look at Bitch_PhD.

But you're right about one thing... I do come close...

did you really just compare joe francis to charles manson?
...I know you like bitching about things, but that doesn't make it newsworthy (or interesting). I am sorry you feel the need to defend your personal grudges. And also, since when did he become a rapist? I'm not sure, but I think I missed that part. I find girls gone wild to be as entertaining as a bowel movement, too bad I don't have my own column to write about such fascinating things.

Keep up the good work.

No, actually, I didn't. What I did was take your razor sharp insight into the human soul and applied it to another person at random. As I said, they're both fuckwits, but that's hardly a comparison.

Honestly, your reply is... not what I'd hoped. I'm guessing writing isn't your strong suit and I can't help but think about how much better you'd be doing if this were a foosball game or beer can pyramid contest...

Ah well, maybe someday you will get that column, Generic Boston Shaven-headed Guy.... Someday...

EveyelleWhy the fuck would anyone take their clothes off for him for free?

Why would anyone want to go to spring break and drunkenly fuck random people in the first place? He's done a great job of branding his company name to be associated with "partying" in the bodyshot/whoohoo kegger! sense of the word. In the context where he gets the girls topless/naked, wearing one of those t-shirts makes them part of the in crowd. They are a "girl gone wild" with the instant minor celebrity that brings with it.

Yeah, he's a swell guy.

In no way, of course, do I think he should be subject to abuse, but this guy is unequivocally a horrible person.

Holy Fuck.
Not liking this article does not mean that I like, nor support Joe Francis and/or Girls Gone Wild. I wasn't even trying to insult this supposed CoolerKing. I think he is a good writer and i have enjoyed some of his other articles. All I was merely trying to point out was that this article serves no purpose. I thought the topic was pretty poor, other than a cheap shot at family guy fans (which was actually kind of funny). All the sudden I am being attacked for my own oppinion, when I thought that was what these stupid comment things were for.
But sorry, I'll stay out of things from now on.

I play a fierce game of air hockey given the conditions are to my satisfaction. I like Family Guy I guess this means I am a douchebag. I do believe that Florida is treating Joe Francis worse than a child rapist, even they can get bail. I have no problem with GGW, if drunk girls want to show the goods and somone decides to profit off this god bless.

Who cares? Some idiot who exploits drunken whores. Now, he is in jail.

Gee golly! That is worth writing about.

Seriously, this site is going down the hole.

Hey, remember that harrowing episode of HBO's "OZ" when Adibisi was denied a blanket? You don't? How about that nail-biter episode of "Prison Break" where they threatened to strap the hunky model guy to a chair... but, then... didn't... You missed that one? That's odd...

Maybe this makes me the exception to the rule but this is precisely the sort of article I look to SG for. When I look for serious news about serious topics, I consult a serious publication. Not suicidegirls.com. For some reason I've found that when weighing in on heavy discussions and someone asks where I came up with my information, SG doesn't seem to garner quite the amount of credit one might hope for. So for all those bitching about the relative merits of this story, well, now you have another wrinkle to consider.

As you were.

how does anybody on this site really have that much of a problem with this guy, while you are a member of a site, that you pay for, that is also centered around naked women. He does the same thing for a different target market...

.... I guess we are all douchbags

Actually, we're not.

I don't know what to tell you, man. If you don't see the difference between a woman choosing to pose in an artistic manner in a situation she is entirely in control of and some slob preying on women who are drunk and/or under various other influences and using that to get them to strip, make out, whatever else, and then sign a release form, on top of the numerous other allegations against him, rape, abuse, etc... then nothing I say is gonna change your mind.

Are the diary of Anne Frank and a pro-Hitler newsletter the same thing cause they're both "centered around" Nazis?

Um, many people might compare Joe Francis to a certain person who runs an alternative modeling site and allegedly isn't too cool to models and photographers. I'm not saying who and I'm not saying its true but let's stop the lynch mob before we tie our nooses. Joe Francis isn't my favorite person but he spent a lot of time in jail for nothing already and is being targeted for what he does a little unfairly.

The difference between the artistic nudity here and the stuff in GGW is major, but the differences between the people who run it are not.
