Go get the oldest yearbook you have. I have one from second grade.

Then go to Friendster's User Search and start punching in first and last names of people you used to know. Keep in mind that people may now have new "cool" adult names. The Rebeccas could now be Becca and the Jonathans could be Jon, Jonny or who knows what else.

Start looking for people with the right hometown and age and send them a message. I've been doing this for a few hours. It's fucking rad!

So far, I've gotten in contact with BOTH girls I had a crush on in second grade. w00t w00t! One is still cute and the other...well....

anyway, who'd you find?

as you add more friends, your network will grow. Try searching again in a few months.

Ahhh - now was this inspired by that situation we IM'd about, or completely unrelated?

Makes me almost wish I still had some of those yearbooks...

I found that my galpal B knows a girl who knows Olivia, Maggie and a few others. I also found that a guy from one of my favorite bands is connected to me through a buddy. How cool is that??

Well I don't have an ancient yearbook but I DID find a student I taught algebra 1 to for a credit back in high school (which for me is almost 10 years ago, so that's old enough). The girl ws 13 when I tutored her, this lil thing and now she is a big 23 year old whose a total dyke and into punk! I taught her well, mwah hahaha!

Oh, and is it considered bad that I'm looking up all the girls who I badly wanted to screw but never could, cause they were too busy dating jock meatheads?

Is that so wrong?

I found Bianca, the pretty girl who took me to the school nurse to get an ice pack after I got a black eye from dodge ball in the fourth grade. She went with me because she assured me that she was a total klutz and knew the route. I think I loved her. But her friendster profile tells me she's straight. Noooo.

Next time I go home to my mother's house i'm gonna grab my super old year book and try this, however, I'm still friends with junior kindergarten best friends and they still know most of our elementary school friends, so it might be fairly pointless. Oh the joys of small towns.
