As I wrote yesterday, this week marks the premiere of Robert Zemeckis' big screen adaptation of Beowulf, starring Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich, and Crispin Glover, amongst others. Along with a cast to die for, Zemeckis upped the ante and tapped Neil Gaiman and Roger Avary for the screenplay. The result is Beowulf for the Comic Con generation -- a classic tale of pride as the downfall of man, chock full of adult humor and presented with state of the art, motion capture graphics and visual effects.

SuicideGirls caught up with the cast for a series of video interviews to chat about the film, in regular and IMAX theaters nationwide this Friday, November 16. Yesterday you feasted your eyes and indulged your ears with Crispin Glover. Today, check out the interview with Ray Winstone, who plays the title role in the film. They say a magician never reveals his secrets, for good reason, but Winstone confided that heavy doses of the Sex Pistols and the Clash was key to getting into character as Beowulf. Special effects be damned. Watch the video for more...

Check back tomorrow for my one-on-one with John Malkovich who stars as Unferth, the only guy who calls Beowulf on his bullshit.

OHMYGOD.

Logging into to see an interview with Ray Winstone has actually made my day. He's unreal in Beowulf, and that wink, christ, how could he NOT be the man of my dreams?
