Party Monster

Did anyone see Party Monster? Hate it... like it?

I just saw it and thought it was brilliant. I was leary at first but I was quickly sucked in. In case anyone is curious and hasn't seen a trailer, its about this famous NY club kid from the late 80s and early 90s. He was a huge party promoter who killed on of his club kid friends over drug money. Its based on a true story, the guy is still in jail. It has a strange cast, but I think they were all good. Macully Culikin plays the main character and Seth Green plays his best friend. There was also Fez from that 70's show, i forget his name, and Ricki (name?) from My So Called Life. Marilyn Manson played a hysterical drugged out transvestite. Chole S. from Kids is in it too.

Anyway, I highy reccomend it! And I am wondering what people thought of it, because it didn't get very good ratings and it's only playing in one theater here in Chicago.

I've been told by everyone I know who has seen ti to go, so I might, especially having the History Channel documentery under my belt beforehand.

Ya, I also saw the documentary. It made the movie that much better.

It was weak of the guys who made the documentary to turn around and make a movie out of it with the same name. Shameless!

I'm dying to see this damn movie, if only any of my lame friends would go with me...
