Jennifer "Precious" Finch started late in the music game. Not until she was 18. But she must have had something going on because she joined the famously raunchy all girl punk band L7 at the age of 19.

Since leaving L7 in the early 1990's Finch's career has had a series of ups and downs but now she is back with her new band The Shocker and their debut album Up Your Ass Tray. This album is pure Finch with such songs like My Life as a Plumber and Bad Brain Good Head. I would never refer to anyone's...

Cool interview. She sounds like a fun chick.

But come on, there's more to the suicidegirls than just "three kinds of girls: punk, emo, or goth."

No kidding, I'd like to see some big fake boobies and blonde hair. The bettie bangs and little boobies, no matter how much we love them, gets repetitive after a while.

Ahhh... the wonderful + talented Jennifer Finch is back at it. Thats so awesome to hear!!! Been a fan of L7 for many years... and Jennifer was always my fav. It was sad when she left L7. I never really got into her other band Other Star People... but am looking forward to checking out The Shocker. Jennifer was always a rockin' gal in my book!!!

It's not called Daughters of the Revolution Hall by anybody in DC. No offense to Jennifer, I know she's not from here, but it's just called "Constitution Hall" or "D.A.R. Constitution Hall," and absolutely nothing else by anybody or any newspaper I've ever seen.

(edited just because, well I could, and what I wrote before was pretty dumb)

when I was 14 I went to my first L7 show
some guy pushed me and I wrapped my spikes around my fist and broke his nose.
Jen Finch is one badass bitch who's totally inspired me to be more badass
and she's also one of the most gorgeous women on the face of the foul earth
this was one of the best interviews you guys have ever done.

Great article..... their album (available cheap from their website) kicks ass!!

doesn't mention that the drummer for The Shocker is Claudia Rossi from Jack Off Jill, though shocked
