So it appears I have some nifty spyware on my computer that won't allow me to install any Spyware detection and eradication programs. I've tried Adaware, Spybot, and some other program. The three that seem to be the most popular on the internet from what I can tell. I've gotten rid of a few sketchy ".exe" files that have allowed me to go from "not even able to opening up the installation programs" to "being able to select the language then having them disappear." Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions?

Oh yeah, FUCK MYSPACE!

I'm hoping, I'm hoping, but it's taking really long time and my Spyware doesn't seem to like it. It doesn't even like me typing anymore apparently.

Housecall is really processor-intensive, meaning it will slow your computer down while you're running it. It's best to just start it up and walk away for an hour or two.

It does take a really long time, because it's running a full virus/spyware/adware scan over the internet, and it's inspecting all your files.

Download Hijack This. When you install it and then run it (actually from memory it doesn't install?) click on the first option - "Do a system scan and save a log file". Give it some time to complete the scan, and it should automatically open up notepad with a log file of that scan. Now copy and paste that whole logfile either into this thread (behind a spoiler tag please) or just PM me. DONT try and delete/select anything.

I personally like Spyware Terminator.

Adaware & Spybot Search and Destroy are also fairly popular.

I've never tried Housecall, I'll have to take a look.

Oop's probably should have taken the time to read your post. Eh, it's been a long day.
