We all know that with beauty pageants, the competition can get fierce. But with the Miss Horrorfest contest, the competition gets down right bloody. It's that time of year again -- the Miss Horrorfest 2007 competition has begun.



AfterDark's Horrorfest is a weekend long scream fest of "8 films to die for" where fans get to indulge in all things spooky and, once again, they're looking to crown a new Queen of Scream. Contestants can join this YouTube group and submit their video for approval and their chance to win. The winner receives $50,000, fame, glory, a year of exotic travel as the reigning Miss Horrorfest and, of course, a tiara to die for.



Show the ladies your support by checking out the videos, leaving comments and rating them with stars. The more views and the more stars a submission has, the greater the chance that she'll be Miss Horrorfest. To view all 2007 submissions, go here.
