Ahhh, lord. We're all in so much trouble. A few years back, NPR let me in on some truly frightening statistics. They were doing a current events geography poll, and something like 70% of people couldn't identify Iraq on an unlabeled map, just with borders drawn. Even more people couldn't identify Afghanistan and just over half of the people polled couldn't identify Louisiana on a map. Mind you, these were Americans being polled. I bet more people in THE Ukraine could identify LA.

Like, such as, the Iraq...

I can't say anything to anyone about geography skills. I'm fucking horrible with geography myself.

Probably squeeked by with a C. Let's say my high schooling was well before the dissolution of the Soviet Union and I haven't really had a reason or inclination to take a refresher course. Until the early 90's Ukraine was a region in the SU.
